NYFurs started off as a small project in 2021 to bring people together at in-person furry events all over New York. Starting with a few local meet ups, we began to build a community of like minded folks looking for fun things to do in our free time. Each event was an opportunity for people to let their fur fly, we made great friends and brought people together.
Since then, we’ve continued working toward our goal of strengthening the local community, growing these events & building NYFurs into a dynamic network that hosts events & serves as a hub for others in the New York furry community. The organization’s dedicated team works to keep furries in New York connected to local happenings, promoting events both hosted by NYFurs and by others in the area. Our tools create a place that people can set up event pages to invite others and track RSVPs to know how many to plan for. We’re here to keep furries in New York and the surrounding area connected & informed as events from arcade meets to VRChat hangouts and camping trips all made possible by people with the same passion as us, bringing furries together.
