OneConfig is an upcoming open-source mod library currently in development, focused around UX and DX, to compete with clients while remaining in the Forge/Fabric space. The mission of OneConfig includes:
- Unifying all mod UIs into a simple, clean, theme-able UI
- Becoming the golden standard of user experience (UX) in the Minecraft client/modding space
- Integrate mods together with automatic updates, and a unified, very usable HUD API. Moreover, we plan to add an accompanying launcher, that not only integrates some OneConfig-related features such as mod profiles and updates, but also can act as an excellent standalone Minecraft Launcher.
- Making it simple and easy for mods to migrate to OneConfig and use the API.
