Welcome to the Refold Japanese Discord server! We are a community of serious learners working to achieve a high level in the Japanese language using the Refold method.
In order to achieve a high level in the language, we do things a little differently here!
1. We believe in learning to UNDERSTAND before learning to SPEAK
2. We believe in acquiring languages naturally through massive amounts of input
3. We believe in learning WORDS instead of drilling individual kanji without context
4. We do not believe in spending a lot of time on textbooks or gimmicky apps
5. Most of all, we believe in spending time on content that is FUN because fun will carry you all the way to fluency better than any textbook, app, or language course will ever do
