Women in Games

The purpose of Women in Games is to build a fair, equal and safe environment empowering girls and women in the global gaming ecosystem. Our mission is to create new platforms, pathways and synergies, which foster opportunities that empower girls and women in the global gaming sector. Women in Games will bring together agents of change, allies, men and boys, champions, experts, grass-roots organisations and others for new dialogues focussed on shared solutions towards fairness and equality for all. By investing in women and girls, we will be instrumental in influencing positive societal change with significant benefits for the gaming sector. We achieve our mission through engagement with our 4 verticals of action: Policy, Education, Industry and Community – We create initiatives and design materials, which inform government policy and change – We engage with the game industries and adjoining sectors, to make the case for gender equity and parity – We work with the educational sector and create engaging educational initiatives – We build communities of action, through multiple networks and channels, focussing efforts towards meaningful impacts.
