SUPERSYMMETRY

Supersymmetry is a GregTech modpack that spans many different levels of technological mastery, from the steam engine, to the nuclear reactor, to unbelievably advanced technology in the realm of science fiction. By that, I mean we will eventually branch into *theoretical* physics, allowing the player to exploit phenomena that have never before been seen in Minecraft (well, as far as I know anyway). This modpack integrates countless real chemical and physical processes into its progression. This means having many different crafting chains which imitate real manufacturing processes, ranging from realistic thermodynamics just to liquify air, to a new oil processing line that isn't simply plopping down 4 distillation towers and some chemical reactors. Are you interested? Read on then. Every mod will have its progression altered to better fit the GregTech style of progression. As a consequence of this, automation and mass production are vital, encouraging the construction of large factories and transportation networks to move resources and products. Imagine sprawling networks of trains moving ores from your automatic drills to your processing factories, where you'll be surrounded by the hum of multitudinous new machines that we have added with our custom core mod, ranging from the ion exchange column to the polymerization tank. The sheer amount of effort involved in turning natural resources into the final product will make gameplay feel much more rewarding than your average modpack. Of course, there will be many complications. The overworld is just the starting point of your conquest. After you have conquered the overworld and its deeper layers for full access to terrestrial resources, naturally, you will then move on to establish a permanent presence in space. This entails conquering the solar system, and finally moving outwards in interstellar space, exploring a variety of planets with unique challenges, world generation, and enemies to face, in order to get access to the most exotic and rare resources in the cosmos. You will start from nothing, and build something even more powerful than a Kardashev type III civilization. Welcome to Supersymmetry.
