"Role-Playing Game" maps on Trackmania are tracks focused on taking the player on an adventure, while offering a unique driving style with many tricks. These are generally longer maps, where exploration and discovery are at the forefront. Originally, the term RPG was born with maps having a unique theme, immersive environment, pathfinding, stories, quests, custom textures, hence the genre name. This is still the case, but as Trackmania games have evolved, so has the genre. Nowadays, some RPG maps are more focused on pathfinding and unique tricks, while others put more emphasis on the immersive aspect and it's 'Role Play' elements. There is also the derivative genre "Mini RPG", which focuses more on competitiveness by emphasizing on consistency and tricks rather than exploration or immersion. In this discord you will be able to chat with the RPG community, share & discover new maps, get tips, help and resources for mapping, finding betatesters, share trailers, videos, pictures, or even check live info about the in-game public RPG servers. There is also a whole section dedicated to community events and competitions. The server uses auto-assign roles that will allow you to stay only informed about what you only really want to.
