Emo is For Lovers is an inclusive emo community that connects like-minded individuals from around the world to chat about music, fashion, culture, and everything else related to the emo lifestyle :emo:. We create server playlists, interview smaller bands to put them on spotlights, go on festivals offline together, and share stories of our favorite tunes while also befriending with server character Skelly, who is a shy emo skeleton Finding friends who share your music taste and subculture can be tough, but with our community, you'll never have to feel alone again. We are about genuine conversations and connects free from judgement, and strike to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone is welcome, regardless of their background, gender, sexuality, or race. Do keep in mind our moderation enforcements are quite strict. Whether you're into 00s’ emo bands like My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out boy or newer bands like Modern Baseball and The Hotelier, or even an emo purist all the way back to the 80s, we've got you covered. Some of the things that makes us unique: - Active/ monthly server events - Emo album archives from 80s to 2020s sorted by era and countries - Member spotlights: we spotlight members with inspiring stories or talent who are active on the server and help each other grow. - Offline presence: We go on rock festivals together as a community and provide opportunity to make lasting friendships. - EXCLUSIVE band interviews: We interview and allow members to ask questions on behalf. Last interview was with an American emo band called Anxious. We've also interviewed the demolition groom from MCR.
