# Your First Steps
When you join the LBP Union Discord Server, you’ll first encounter our onboarding screen. This will ask you questions to help you tailor your experience. For example, you can opt into announcement role categories to personalize your notifications. If you want to only receive notifications for server status changes, you can do that!
# Check the LittleBigPlanet Server Status on Discord
Community members can get push notifications for major changes to the LittleBigPlanet server status. This includes the official servers operated by Sony on the PlayStation 4 as well as LBP Union’s Beacon custom server for PS3 and Vita.
# Exclusive Events
Our community occasionally hosts events on Discord. These are generally fun things like movie and game nights. Occasionally we will also host Q&As with film creators and other community figures to help start intriguing conversations. You can check to see what events are coming up on our events page.
